Hong Kong Disneyland

I had a great time at Hong Kong Disneyland. It is a little different to Disneyland in the US in that many of the rides at Hong Kong Disneyland have Cantonese, Mandarin and English audio on the rides. However many of the rides are the same such as Space Mountain.
You can see the castle and meet Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Tess from Toy Story and Winnie the Pooh and you can take pictures with them. Character meet-and-greets are very popular at Hong Kong Disneyland.
In Adventure Land you can go on the Jungle River Cruise and see various mechanical animals such as elephants, hippos and crocodiles.
In Fantasy Land you can ride on the Cinderella Carousel, ride on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, see The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh or take a ride in a Mad Hatter Tea Cup.

In Tomorrow Land you can go on the thrilling Space Mountain ride or Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.

There is also Toy Story land, Mystic land and Grizzly Gulch land.

Grizzly Gulch has a Wild West theme. In Grizzly Gulch land you can enjoy the Big Grizzly Mountain runaway mine carts ride.
In Mystic land you can go on a ride that tours the inside of Mystic Manor. The ride is about Lord Henry Mystic, a Member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, and his monkey named Albert who acquires a magical music box. The ride is like a museum tour where you can see many interesting artefacts discovered by Lord Henry Mystic.

In Toy Story land there is the Toy Soldier Parachute drop, Slinky Dog Spin and character meet-and-greets where you can meet Tess, Woody or Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movie. The Slinky Dog Spin is a spinning ride shaped like Slinky Dog who chases his own tail.  The Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is a fun ride where you drop from the sky during a toy soldier parachute drill.

My favorite rides were Space Mountain, Toy Soldier Parachute Drop, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and Big Grizzly Mountain runaway mine carts.

When you start to feel hungry you can take a break from rides and enjoy some food at one of the many restaurants in the park. I decided to go to the Banquet Hall. There is Western style and Chinese food available.
There are many shops filled with Disney merchandise.

At night you can watch the magical fireworks show at the castle.

The park can get crowded so it's best to arrive early and I would recommend visiting the park on a weekday rather than on the weekend or during school holidays or national holidays in Hong Kong. You can also get a fast pass for popular rides like Space Mountain, but the fast pass is an additional purchase to your park tickets.

I’m really glad I went to Hong Kong Disneyland and I would definitely go back again if I go to Hong Kong again. There are plenty of fun rides for both adults and children to enjoy.

How to get there by Disney Resort Subway Line:
Travel by subway and change for Disney Resort Line at Sunny Bay Station. It takes about 23 minutes from HK International Airport, 30 minutes from MTR Kowloon Station and 33 minutes from MTR Hong Kong Station. The MTR line operates from Sunny Bay from 06:15 - 00:45, from the Resort Station from 06:20 - 00:40. The frequency is about 4-10 minutes.

Park Opening Hours: 10:30 to 20:30
